Graduation at Ben Gurion University

The engineering graduation was outside (no chance of rain) in the early evening.  All the department chairs were dressed alike.  Prof. Robert Levi (left) is the current Structural Engineering chairman.  Dean Joseph Kost is in the center, and the rector (provost) is on the right with the orange-banded mortarboard.  Robert's and the provost's stoles have orange BGU logos on them.  Orange is BGU's color, and is also the engineering color at graduation.
There was a popular singer that did two numbers, including the Israeli standard, "Ani v'atah."  Here are the words (it means "You and me").  We don't have pop stars at UMKC's graduation!
Some awards were given, and the provost conferred the degrees, but the diplomas (which are issued a year after the students finish classes, so that all their work can be thoroughly reviewed), were distributed at departmental ceremonies right after.
